Fire Pit Installations

Monolith Fire Pits

The Monolith fire pits are our most popular models. Customers like the sleek round shape that houses a realistic-looking steel log and pinecone log set.  It is the perfect marriage of contemporary and rustic.  You can order the monolith with a flat black powder coat finish that is easy to maintain. Just use a damp towel and wipe it clean.  If black isn’t for you, some of our clients prefer a more natural finish that lets the steel patina on its own to give it a more rustic look.

Flat Top Fire Pits

The Flat Top Fire Pits are also popular due to their transitional style that elevates a variety of outdoor living areas. The flat top provides a smooth surface to set drinks and snacks on while enjoying the fire. It is also a perfect footrest to warm chilly toes.

Stone-Surround Fire Pits

Many of our clients prefer to build a natural or manufactured stone surround that can accommodate any of our log sets including the Summit, Treeline or Trailhead. We’ll work with you and your landscape professional to make custom log sets to fit your needs. We’re happy to consult with you if you’re a DIY-er or your local stone mason to help you achieve the look you want. From a solid stone feature to a custom piece that matches the stones from your house facade – we would love to consult with you on some ideas.

Already have a custom stone base, but aren’t happy with your ceramic or glass media? Good news, we can create a new steel log and pinecone log set to replace your old, inefficient media.  You’ll love the new look and appreciate the extra heat that the steel logs radiate. They are perfect for chilly nights and year-round entertaining.

Rectangular and Square Fire Pits

Our rectangular fire pits are especially popular for bigger outdoor spaces that seat more people. If you’ve got a mountain house and love to entertain, a long rectangle is the perfect centerpiece for 8, 10 or 20 Adirondack chairs. You dream it, we’ll build it. These larger fire pits have been popular at private homes as well as ski resorts, breweries and upscale hotels. In addition to the realistic log fire appearance, the steel logs give more radiant heat to warm a large group of people gathered around the fire pit.

Custom-Shaped Fire Pits

Does your patio call for a non-standard shape? Perhaps you are dreaming of a unique shape that doubles as an art installation for your patio.  We would love to discuss ideas and partner with you on a truly one-of-a-kind fire pit. From an ultra-modern piece to a fire bowl to a triangular shape, we’ve done it all. We can also add unique features to the exterior of the fire pit like wheels and recycled ski cables used as footrests.

Log Sets

Do you already have a fire pit base or stone surround but want to upgrade your current logs to warmer, more realistic-looking logs?  We can help. We’ll create a custom log set that can easily replace your existing logs. How about a ground-level fire pit like you see at many campgrounds? Check out the low-to-the-ground fire pit with just a steel ring as the base below. Breck Ironworks’ steel logs are gorgeous just by themselves!

We highly recommend upgrading your old, tired-looking log set so it doesn’t corrode over time. As a plus, you’ll get more radiant heat with a steel log set. When upgrading your fire element with steel logs, you have the option to select from a range of sizes and designs that match your design style and complement the aesthetic of your home. You can choose between a classic log style or a more contemporary design that uses steel logs that have cleaner lines.

Fireplace Logs Sets

As natural gas fireplaces, especially open-front fireplaces, become more popular, we’ve noticed an uptick in the people who are asking Breck Ironworks to create steel log and pinecone log sets for inside the home.  We primarily provide outdoor fire pits, but it’s absolutely possible to use our steel logs for indoor fireplaces. Most fireplaces have ceramic logs which can look faded and not very natural . Thinking of replacing your existing logs? Read more about how to replace your logs in our blog Retrofitting: Upgrade Your Fire Feature to Steel Logs, as well as the blog Convert Your Wood-Burning Fireplace to Natural Gas With Realistic-Looking Steel Logs.

If you’re looking for a WOW! factor and a beautiful custom fire pit that is guaranteed for life, we’d love to work with you. We create heirloom quality fire pits that are bound to be the center of attention on your deck or patio. Breck Ironworks fire pits create a cozy, welcoming atmosphere for you to relax and socialize with friends and family for years to come.
